The Workshop
In this workshop, participants will learn to create their own incense cones using natural ingredients such as frankincense and sandalwood powder, along with fragrance oils. Each participant will make approximately 15 incense cones following one of our provided recipes. The cones can be crafted with just natural ingredients for a subtle, cleansing aroma or with added fragrance oils for a more intense scent.
We provide all necessary ingredients and fragrance oils, and we can even offer bespoke fragrance blends tailored to your preferences. Participants will use a custom 3D-printed mould to ensure their cones come out perfectly every time. At the end of the workshop, everyone will take home their incense cones stored safely in a metal tin, needing just a day or two to dry before use.
Workshop Plan
We’ll arrive early to set up and walk you through the workshop process. As participants arrive, we will:
- Introduction: We'll explain the concept of incense making and introduce the different ingredients and scents available.
- Incense Making: Participants will select their preferred recipe, blend the ingredients, and use a custom 3D-printed mould to shape their cones.
- Support: Throughout the workshop, we’ll offer guidance and assistance to ensure everyone feels confident in their creations.
- Wrap-Up: Participants will leave with their cones safely stored in a metal tin. We’ll stay behind to tidy up and debrief the session with you.
Who Is the Workshop For?
This workshop is perfect for anyone who enjoys incense and wants to learn how it’s made. It’s also ideal for those who love home fragrances or are looking for a unique and creative activity. The workshop is designed for complete beginners, so no prior knowledge or materials are required.
Bespoke incense cones make wonderful gifts, making this workshop great for occasions like Mother’s Day or Christmas. Participants can create cones for themselves or as special presents for others.

Requirements
We need a space with enough tables and chairs for all participants. Since we’ll be working with fragrance oils, a well-ventilated area or a space with windows is preferable.

When?
We offer workshops and events any day of the week, including weekends, from 9 AM to 11 PM. This flexibility means we can accommodate almost any schedule! Whether you want a quick one-hour session or a more extended event, we’re here to make it work for you. For larger events we can also run workshops back to back so everyone can have a go.

Where?
Our cozy studio in Chiswick is unfortunately not suitable for hosting workshops. Instead, we bring the workshop to you! You'll need to provide us with a suitable space we can use for the workshop. We’re based in West London but can travel anywhere within the city. If your event is outside London, we'll include transportation and any necessary accommodation in your quote.

Quotes and Fees
Our quotes are based on the materials needed, time worked, and any potential travel and accommodation. We strive for transparency and will discuss the quote with you to ensure it meets your expectations.
We typically ask for half the payment upfront to cover the necessary tools and materials. The remaining balance is due after the workshop is completed.
